Early on in life, I always admired the people who seemed to have life made for them. I sort of just wanted a cushy life where someone else paid all my bills while I jet-setted around the world from beach to beach living it up without a care in the world.
When I learned about manifestation, I actually thought I could manifest this kind of life for myself, so that’s what I tried to do.
I followed all the rules, applied every strategy, stuck to the processes by the book….
….and my life started to crumble right before my very eyes.
I literally lost all the material things that made me feel safe and secure, irresponsibly quitting my good-paying job and short selling my beloved condo so that I could move back home with my parents at 31, jobless, and completely broke.
From my broken state, I was forced to dig deeper, look beyond the safety and security of the material world, and start asking the tough questions, while being open and willing to actually listen when God answered.
I realized that had I created a life that my mind conjured up as “ideal”, I would never have the motivation to actually answer the calling placed on my life.
I never would’ve stepped up into becoming the version of myself who transforms the lives of women all over the planet with a message of empowerment and possibility.
The luxury and ease that I was seeking would’ve been the very thing that prevented me from actually loving my life, feeling the fulfillment that only stepping into your purpose could provide.
My soul knew the limits of my human mind. When left to my own devices, I choose safe, comfortable, and easy. Not everyone is that way, but that was true for me.
Until I had every single crutch knocked out from underneath me, I would forever keep looking for something to protect my small, empty life.
I would keep seeking for happiness and fulfillment in the external world that had a really good grip on my consciousness.
But when you have nothing else, the wake up call is pretty easy to hear.
Suddenly doing what I’ve always known I was born to do felt possible. Even though I was scared as hell, I also had nothing to lose.
I knew what it felt like to have a lot and lose it, I also knew what it felt like to not have anything, and i didn’t like it. I also knew that if I wanted a life of luxury it had to come with soul-fulfillment and meaning because just having money wasn’t enough.
I knew it was all or nothing.
I chose to have it all.
If you’ve been called in this lifetime to make an impact and do great things, and you are avoiding that calling because fear is louder than faith, don’t be surprised when the things that once worked for you stop working.
Don’t be surprised when the foundation of what felt safe and secure starts to crumble.
It’s nothing personal. It’s simply life calling you to greater things. It’s the calling on your life not settling or hiding anymore.
Here’s where free will kicks in. You always have free will to answer the calling, step into your greatness, align with your soul, and kick ass in life!
When you say yes, everything you want and need becomes available effortlessly. Opportunities present themselves, people are placed in your path, you begin to receive ideas, and you actually EVOLVE into a more improved version of yourself. You actually upgrade your software and BECOME MORE.
You will always be supported when you begin living your purpose
But you don’t have to. And most people never will. But real happiness and prosperity will never be achieved when you make the choice to stay small.
Sure you might have a good job that pays the bills. You might have an easy life that appears to be fantastic to everyone on the outside looking in.
But you’ll always feel empty regardless of what you do or don’t have until you begin giving of yourself and stepping out in boldness to serve the world in whatever way you know you were meant to do.
And someday, when the calling gets loud enough, and you’ve ignored it one too many days, all of your security just might disappear.
It never had to get to that point. I could’ve listened years ago and avoided the crumbling of my life. But I was hard-headed, stubborn, and let my fears and insecurities get the best of me before I woke up and realized I couldn’t avoid this burning in my heart.
You can avoid the demolition too, if you just wake up now and do the damn thing.
You know what you were born to do. You’re just scared of starting.
You hear the calling daily. You’re just ignoring it.
You feel the tugging at your heart. You just keep numbing out.
But the calling is getting louder and the tugging is pulling harder and the little tap on your shoulder is going to become a wack over the head with a 2×4 if you keep ignoring it.
Step up! I promise the fear will disappear as you begin taking action.
Step up! I promise you will be supported with all that you need as soon as you demonstrate your faith.
Step up! Life is wanting to express through you, and when you give it permission, that is when your life begins.
Step up! Living your calling doesn’t come at the expense of a life of luxury. Living your calling is the only way you can have it all.
One thing I know about you….
You DO WANT IT ALL.
You want the money but you also want to be happy. You want the luxury but you also want the fulfillment. You want the freedom of choices but there’s also a passion within you that is begging for you to choose IT!
You’ve been called. You’re meant for bigger things. You were born for greatness.
You’re outgrowing the smallness of your life. It’s time to spread your wings. What once worked in your life as a caterpillar must be let go of to become a butterfly.
No sacrifice here! You’re letting go of something small to be available for more.
