Your Chance Has Not Passed, It Is Not Too Late, There’s No Better Time Than Now

I recently turned 40 (in July) and I, like most people reflecting on the past 10 years, considered the last decade of my life and what would be different in my 40’s. 

A large part of me is ecstatic for this next phase of my life.  I really mean it. I feel like 40 is the new 30…with more experience, wisdom, and a sexiness that comes with age.

But if I’m being honest, there was also a little part of me that felt disappointed. 

Disappointed about where I was compared to where I wanted to be.  

Disappointed for not playing a bigger game in my business. 

Disappointed for not taking up hobbies I really wanted to get better at (I stopped playing the guitar when I had my first child 5 years ago…I do the math and wonder how good I would be now if I had practiced this whole time).

My crazy mind started spinning stories about how busy I am now with other things that matter and how maybe I’m really not supposed to have the level of success i wanted in my business.  Maybe I should just enjoy being a full-time mom. The guitar was so hard anyway, who has time for that?

Most of this disappointment was destructive criticism, yes.  And of course I did the energy and mindset work to change my focus and shift into a higher vibe of self-love and deep appreciation.  

But it got me thinking, how many other women feel this same “crunch for time” and worry that maybe too much time has passed and now it’s not even worth going for.  

How many other women stop at that threshold of the mind that creates excuses when you start to feel fear?

How many other women allow their mind to tell them that other younger women are more qualified, talented, and have the time and minimal responsibilities that make manifesting dreams way more feasible? 

(I actually found myself believing that I’m too old to take selfies and cute pics for IG so I prob shouldn’t try growing my biz that way!)

These thoughts and beliefs are intense, no doubt, 

but they are not powerful enough to stop you from showing up fully as the messenger/teacher/healer/impactor you are called to be!

I just want you to know that there really is no better time than now to begin living your life the way that inspires you the most. 

A new decade (or a new year, or heck…a new day!) is a perfect time to begin again, learn from everything in the past, and make damn certain the next phase of your life is filled with joyful memories, as well as a sense of pride for doing what felt hard or even impossible in pursuit of happiness and fulfillment. 

Because regret sucks.  And I know, I know…it’s the spiritually enlightened thing to do to claim you have no regrets and you never really made a mistake, but putting your halo aside for a minute, just admit, if you could go back and do it all over again, you’d do it smarter…

…bolder…

…braver…

I know I would.

But it’s never too late.

And looking back 10 years from now,  I want to say I took more risks this decade, 

I loved more this decade, 

I went all in this decade.

And if I fail, it won’t be because I didn’t try.

If I lose, it won’t be because I quit.

And if nobody listens, it won’t be because I was quiet.  

I’m going to show up in whatever way I know how.

I’m going to take the risks that seem silly to take “at this stage in the game” (whatever tf that means)

I’m going to listen to the highest aspect of me that reminds me of my purpose while lovingly not believing my ego that says I should settle for something less.  

I’ve committed to doing life differently. 

I’m stepping up my game. 

I’m playing at a higher level. 

I swear I’ll never stop either. You can hold me to that 

I will ALWAYS uplevel my game.

I will ALWAYS deepen my practice.

I will ALWAYS push my thresholds.

Because I know what’s waiting for me on the other side when I do!

Liberation. More freedom.  More connection. More bliss.  More joy. More ease. More peace.  

Bring it on, life!  What’s next?

There Is No Instant Gratification–You Have to Stay the Course!

My message isn’t always very popular.  Mostly people want that burst of inspiration that will light them up and make them all fuzzy and get them thinking all positively.  Which is great, and I love being inspired just as much as the next person,

But sometimes truth bombs need to be laid out and it’s not what you want to hear but it’s what you need to hear.

This is one of those messages.

My title says it all.

There is no instant gratification.  If you want massive change and transformation, you’re going to have to put in the work.  You are going to have to do your time.

You spent an entire lifetime feeding your mind with lies and limitations and you expect to clean it all up in a weekend over a chit-chat convo with your BFF.

What do you do when shit gets tough?

What do you do when it feels like the same old thoughts and beliefs keep coming up and blocking you from that life of liberation/freedom/purpose/abundance?

I’ll tell you what 99% of people do…and you can decide which party you’re part of.  Will you be the 99% or the 1%?

The 99% will say, “This doesn’t work!  I’m not cut out for this!  I must be doing something wrong!  She’s better than me.  I don’t have what it takes!  I just don’t get it!  This is too hard!  I don’t have time/I’m confused/I’m overwhelmed….”

And they will either quit, or stay stuck in that mindset, going through the motions, but never really getting anywhere because they are still believing the lies they’ve been telling themselves.

The biggest problem I have with the self-development industry is that everyone seems to make it look so easy, effortless, and pretty.

And it’s none of that.

Yes, it could be all of those.  But your mind is so damn determined to keep you stuck that it. will. fight. you.

And that’s where you need to be determined, willing to get dirty, and play a bigger game than your mind is willing to play.

You need to be willing to do the time and persist even when there is no visible evidence that any of the work is actually working.

You can’t give up.  Not ever.

You will want to!  Your mind will continuously bring you back to the visible world and give you every reason why you should just quit now.

So just decide right now if you are going to be a quitter or someone who acknowledges that she knows too much to turn back and she’s going to do whatever it takes until things turn around.  And if you choose to quit, just stop reading.

Still reading.  YES!  Let me celebrate with you and Life because Life is excited that you are fully committed to being the person who can lift her eyes above the illusions of this world and begin to see what lies beyond.

Your job as a spiritual being walking in this world is to be here, now, but know that you aren’t from here.

There’s a scripture that says, “Be in this world but not of it!”

From a religious perspective, it means something entirely misinterpreted IMHO, but what it really means metaphysically is that this world is a world that is at the effect of your consciousness.  If you attempt to make things happen in order to find satisfaction or fulfillment, you are being IN this world, and you will not find lasting happiness.

But if you are in this world, enjoying all the scenery and all that your senses allow you to participate in, but at the same time fully understand that the Real world is beyond those things that you can sense, you are then manifesting heaven on earth.

YOU become a powerful co-creator with the Universe, able to work miracles, and find true freedom.

You become a channel for the invisible to manifest into the visible.

That is the real definition of manifesting.

Manifesting something isn’t about making something happen that hasn’t already happened.

It’s about making what is invisible (but available) visible.

IT IS ALL ENERGY.

Grasp that.

So when I talk about staying the course, what I really mean is learning how to let go of your attachments to the outer trappings of this world and the stories that limit you from waking up to your full potential, remember daily that you were created for a purpose (and that purpose was not just to get by as a successful human being, but to thrive as a spiritual being serving this world with the gift of you), and do the necessary inner work that removes blocks, reprograms your mind, and aligns your energy with the Source of your being.

It goes way beyond just affirming and visualizing what you want life to look like.

It doesn’t begin and end with a 5 minute meditation each morning and evening.

As a matter of fact, that’s the fun stuff.

What happens when it gets hard?  What happens when it looks like nothing is working?  What happens when everyone else is getting results and you aren’t?

That’s the work I’m talking about.  That’s what makes most people run.

But you’re not a runner.  You’re going to stick it out.  You’re going to return to God every single MF day and use every opportunity that is given to you to awaken more to who you are.  You are going to love yourself through your transformation, but you’re also going to remember that sometimes love is tough.

That’s what I’m giving you right now.  A little dose of tough love.  Because I know you can handle it and I know you’re ready for it.  And mostly because I know what’s available when you become the person who decides to be unstoppable.

True freedom is available for those who do the work.

Liberation is available.

Peace that surpasses all understanding is available.

The INNER vibration that doesn’t require anything to change in your world before you experience it.

As you master the VIBRATION, you become a welcome energy for the manifestation of all you desire.

But that really won’t matter too much anymore.

Because you’ll be too busy feeling blissful, and looking for new ways to expand your consciousness, go even deeper and expand even further.

It’s just the way it works.

I’m so glad that you’re committed to your life’s journey.  It makes me happy to know that even though it takes some real focus, dedication, and tenacity that you’re willing to be the 1% who wants to blaze her own trail, bust through the limitations that keep most people stuck for lifetimes, and experience life as a miracle-worker/magician who just receives because she IS.

You are.

And I’m right here with you.  Busting blocks, raising thresholds, expanding my vision, and choosing to make the impossible possible.

Eventually You’re Going to Have to Start Being the Real You

I know that hiding out feels real safe right now.

The fear of being judged by others just doesn’t seem all that appealing.

But you know just as well as I do that hiding out is eventually going to lead to a slow, painful kind of death.

You might not physically die, but your Soul won’t tolerate you playing small forever.

Eventually She will tug and pull at your heart so much that you will have to either step up and start being the real You, or deal with the pain of staying small.

You were meant for a greater purpose.  Simply existing wasn’t part of your game plan.  And yes, it IS your game plan.

You had 100% buy in before you were born.  You designed the whole thing.  You showing up as queen of your message was something you had no doubt would happen.

So now do it.

There’s really nothing to do, per se.  

Just show up.  Be here.  Stand in your power.  Be willing to be that channel for whatever wants to happen through you.

It’s that simple.  And that difficult.

You want answers.  You want guarantees.  You want to know that everything is going to turn out the way you picture it.

But you know it doesn’t really work that way.

Sometimes you are going to have to go into it blind and let God lead the way.

Sometimes you are not going to get what you thought you wanted.

Sometimes it is not going to look the way you thought it should.

There are no guarantees in this world.

And if you’re putting your faith in the world of form, you’re going to be let down over and over again.

This world has nothing to offer you.

YOU are God’s gift to the world.

Everything that you require is within you.

You need to start seeing life through that perspective.  If you want real and lasting change, you need to.

You need to stop believing what you can currently see if you want to see something else.

It just won’t happen until you do.

I know that it feels hard sometimes.  Your senses are so convincing and all the stories you’ve been telling yourself for so long feel so true by now that believing the opposite just feels crazy.

Can you just be crazy then?

Can you drop all the rules and forget what seems logical and just go a little insane?

What if forgetting all that you thought you knew could lead you to discovering the only real truth?

What if letting go of your stories would reveal the Truth about you and your unlimited power?

Can you just imagine for a moment if you really, wholeheartedly believed that you were limitless?

Yea, yea, I know…you’ve claimed that for yourself.  You’ve written the affirmations.  You’ve plastered it all over social media.

But do you buy it?

Or are you affirm, affirm, affirming it until someday, maybe…maybe you’ll see something you don’t see now and you’ll finally be convinced that what you’ve been telling yourself all along is really true?

What if you just decided.

Decided right now that you don’t have to believe everything you believe.  You don’t have to buy into the limiting stories anymore.

You can let go of your need for approval and validation.

You can be your biggest fan.

You can hand all the details over to the Universe and just make the choice right now to show up and see what happens.

To take that first step, whatever that first step is, without needing to know what the following step looks like or where it will lead.

What if you just stopped trying to control, figure things out, and force things to go your way,

and just allowed.

What would that look like?  What would it look like to just allow the larger aspect of you (the Real You) to emerge from the shadows where you’ve been hiding Her?

What has seemed like the scariest thing to do is actually the only way you’ll be authentically happy.

What are you really afraid of?

Are you afraid of being wrong?  Not really knowing who you are meant to be, and then going for something that doesn’t actually fit?

Well that’s just a little silly when you think about it.  Because who really knows exactly who they are anyway????  

I mean, is there really some final product that you’ll end up waking up to someday?

Do some people exist that just one day discovered exactly who they were and then never changed or evolved beyond that?

So just let that go right now.  We are all expanding, growing, shifting, transforming, deepening who we are, letting go of more and more along the way.

You can’t get this wrong.

That’s what you need to know.

You just can’t eff this up.

You’ve been so scared of messing up and making mistakes that you can’t take back.

But no matter how bad you mess up, it’s not really a mess up.

No matter how scattered you begin, you’ll always receive clarity along the way.

And new gifts are revealed as you step more fully into your sovereign self.

You will be amazed at how much genius, wisdom, expression, love, and enlightenment were already within you.

But your larger self won’t be surprised at all.

She’ll just be happy that you finally woke up to the truth of your amazing, brilliant, unstoppable self.

You Are The Best Person to Do What You’ve Been Called To Do

I think you need to hear something that maybe you’ve heard a million times before, or never at all, but today I hope that it lands on your heart where you can really absorb the intensity and truth of my words.

You are not only qualified to answer the calling of your soul to be a divine messenger and inspirer to uplift and awaken this world,

You are the BEST person for the job.

I want you to really get this in your bones.  God didn’t hand out your calling to 100 people hoping that someone would jump on it.  He appointed it to you and you alone.

There is nobody else who can fulfill your purpose.

There is nobody else who can tell your story, teach your sermon, inspire your people, or connect to your audience the way you can.

There is nobody else who can take your place and serve your mission.

You were born for this purpose.

You were born to give, to serve, to share, and to shine.

And I get it….it’s pretty intimidating to actually admit that you are the best at what you’ve been called to do.  Especially when you see what others have already accomplished and how long they’ve been at their purpose work.

Your disillusioned mind is pretty convinced that admitting that you are THE BEST is self-centered, who are you to say such a thing?  What would people think if they only knew you thought so highly of yourself?

They would believe you…that’s what.

The first person who must believe in you before anyone else is going to…is YOU.

If you think that maybe someday, when you’ve had more practice, more training, more clients, more FB likes, a bigger audience, more confidence, and more followers…more, more, more…before you crown yourself queen of your message, then your audience will be waiting until someday.

Guess what?  Someday will never come.

You’ll always be waiting for something else to change or to happen before you feel worthy.

Worthiness is an inside job.

Here’s the great news about feeling worthy.  When you understand the level of life that is available to express through you at any given time as you show up for your mission, you can’t help but feel worthy.

Because it is not the physical you that is making anything happen.  All the planning, learning, thinking, and all the other human stuff that we do to put our success into action isn’t really all that important.

What is more vital than anything is the connection that you maintain with Life and the level at which you allow that Life to express through you.

You aren’t doing anything.  You are being done.

Do you get that?

You are being done.

If you are really showing up for your purpose work, to deliver the message you were born to speak, then you are being spoken.

And the only thing that you can do is either agree to become a channel, or get in the way.

Those are the only two options.

Of course, who would choose to get in the way?  But you choose that almost every day in some fashion.

You get in the way by judging your message.  You get in the way by doubting your worth.  You get in the way by holding back and not showing up the way you know you must.

You get in the way by waiting for something outside of your to change or for yourself to feel better or more confident before you take massive action towards your dreams.

You get in the way by taking some kind of action, but not the RIGHT kind of action, because you want to feel purposeful but you are really just hiding out.

You end up showing up and hiding out at the same time, and then wondering why you aren’t getting the results that you want.

Because you don’t have the energy behind the actions.

You don’t have the belief.

Believing in your small self is impossible.  And that’s what you’ve been trying to do before now.

You’ve been trying to believe in the version of you that has fears, doubts, worries, insecurities.  You’ve been trying to believe in the version of you that is trying to protect your tiny human life and the safety of your image.

That you must die in order for the real you to emerge.

The Real You sees past all the fears that are holding you back.  The Real You already knows that you have what it takes and then some, so there are no worries, doubts, or insecurities from that level.  She’s confident AF because she’s seen the vision and knows that you’re already rocking it hard core.

The Real You is helping you take down the walls of this tiny human life to demonstrate to you what is on the other side.

There is infinite creative wisdom on the other side of your self doubt.

There is pure potential on the other side of your self doubt.

There is everything you’ve ever wanted, right here, right now, invisible to your human eyes but available nonetheless.

Maybe you’ve doubted because you can’t see past those bricks you’ve piled on one after the other until the wall blocked your vision and made you think this is all that there is.

But you forgot that you actually built that wall.  

You know what that means?

There’s a part of you that KNOWS what’s on the other side.  She’s seen it.

When you forget just who the heck you are, close your eyes, tune into the higher version of yourself, and ASK HER.

She will tell you.  She will show you.  She will light you up with remembrance.

Take action from that place of power; from the power of your higher self who really is more than capable of running the show.

And you really will see, maybe for the first time (but definitely not for the last), that you are the best at what you do and who you are.

Hold onto that vibe.

When you feel it, own it.

And return back to it multiple times daily.

This is how you awaken more and more to your divine message and your ability to deliver it with confidence.

Feel.

Notice.

Affirm.

Repeat.

Today Is All You Have. How Much Will You Show Up For Life?

Are you still waiting for some distant, far-off day to come before you choose to really show up for life?

What could your life be like if you showed up today as if it was already here?  Because it actually is.

There is no such thing as tomorrow.  Tomorrow only exists in your fantasy.  And even yesterday is simply a memory.

Today is all that there is.

Let’s go further down the rabbit hole.

Everything exists now.

All of infinity and all the potential that will ever manifest through you is available right now.

Not after you complete that course.

Not after you land a certain number of clients.

Not after you’ve been making money in your business for a certain number of months/years.

NOW.

To the extent that you step into that infinite potential, you will experience it.

To the extent that you step into your genius, you will experience it.

To the extent that you step into your confidence, brilliance, talent, and light, you will experience it.

Being who you were born to be really isn’t that complicated or difficult.

It isn’t complicated because you are being guided and directed by God.

The process behind what it takes to really achieve mastery is probably complicated AF, but I don’t have to know how it works.  God does.  And He does.  So I don’t even have to think about it.

Being who you were born to be isn’t even difficult.  Being who you AREN’T meant to be is a lot harder.  And definitely more painful.

When you’re not being your true Self, you have to think about so much!  You have to consider what other people think about you, you have to contemplate what you’ll say, you have to do all the work on your own (because the Universe won’t support your fake-as-shit persona that masks your bright and beautiful light).

For me, I choose ease.  I choose guidance.  I choose support for the Universe, thank you very much.

I just don’t have the energy anymore to juggle all the balls in the air by myself.

I never really was good at that.

Handing my life over to God and just adopting His perfection for my life is so much easier, and promises so much more than I could even dream up alone, let alone make happen.

But it DOES require you to show up.

If you want to be a channel for excellence, abundance, and joy, you do have to show up fully for life and be willing to be used by God.

It means that you have to give up your petty attachments to how things are supposed to go, and accept that there’s a bigger plan for your life.

You need to make your connection to that Source of Life the most important and vital element of your day.

You need to be committed to showing up no matter what.

If fear arises, you show up.  If you get triggered by someone’s behavior, you show up.  If you are confronted with fear, you show up.  If you don’t feel like being a bigger person, you show up anyway.

And you need to give it everything you have with all the confidence you have.  Give everything your everything.

Yes, even when you hate your job.  Yes, even when someone acts like an asshole.  Yes, even when you feel disappointment.  Yes, yes, yes.

Because nobody owes you anything.  Which is great because they can’t offer you anything anyway.

YOU are God’s gift to the world.  The only thing that you can do is give yourself away.

And as you begin giving of yourself, your time, your wisdom, your genius, your passion, your purpose….

God will give you more to give.

Today is your only opportunity to expand more into that infinite potential of Divinity; to manifest more of heaven on earth.

No more waiting for something or someone else to show up.  No more hiding out until you feel better about yourself.  No more allowing fear to paralyze you from doing what you were born in this lifetime to do.

There is nothing to wait for.

It is all here waiting for you.

It is here.  Now.

Tap into it.

Manifest it.

Activate it.

Tune into it.

And you will experience it.

If You Keep Saying You Have Nothing To Offer, You’ll Never Allow Your Genius To Manifest!

Do you think you don’t have enough to offer, enough to say, enough to make a difference?

Are you holding back your message, not showing up for your mission because you don’t think you have enough to offer yet?

Like you have to learn a little bit more or polish up your words a little better or feel more confident and clear about things before you step up in a bigger, bolder way?

You’re kinda comparing yourself to people who have been in the game a while and just wonder what you could possibly have to offer that these legends don’t already shine at, huh?

Let’s just be clear on something. 

You will never feel quite ready. 

There will always be someone to compare yourself to.

Fear will always try and stop you.

That’s fear’s job.

But your job is to be bigger than your fears.

Say “thank you so much for showing me my thresholds! Now I’m ready to breakthrough so please just step aside! Or don’t, but I’m doing this regardless!” 

All great messengers started small. 

All great messengers once had doubt.

All great messengers once had no audience to talk to.

But the message burned bright enough, strong enough, deep enough that denying it became impossible. 

And you’re feeling that same burn. 

You know the only way to feel good is to just show up and do the work.  

Be the channel. 

Speak the message.

But the feeling of fear is almost greater than the possibility of freedom.

Almost.

Your ego is trying its damndest to convince you that you’re better off playing small and hiding out.

And maybe you’d believe it if you were new to this game. 

But you’ve been at this long enough to realize that it’s too painful to play small. 

Denial is no longer an option.

The message must come out or else you’ll die!

Of course if you aren’t a born messenger that sounds melodramatic. 

But if you were born to shine and share, you know exactly what I mean. 

There comes a point in time where you put your foot down, draw a line in the sand, and say, “Today is the day when everything changes! Fear will no longer control me!  I must do what I’ve been called to do. I have no choice any more!”

And that declaration is exactly what God needs from you to pour out His support, creative wisdom, infinite genius, power, and grace.

You see, you felt scared because you felt alone. But you never were.

You thought you had to do the work.  

But it has already been done.

You thought you had to think your way through this. 

But your mind was just getting in the way.

Of course you would be scared as a drop of water thinking it had to figure out how to be the ocean.

You just merge.

You allow.

You become. 

You become used by God as a vessel for greatness. 

It is not you doing the work.  

And now you know.

Maybe you already did.  Maybe you always did.

On some level that’s true for all of us.

But I’m shining the light on the Truth so that you remember.

You have to be willing to get completely out of the way and just show up.  

Show up awkwardly. 

Show up clumsily. 

Show up willing to mess up until you get it right.

Because the only thing you have to perfect is letting go more. 

Allowing more.

Caring less and less about what others think and being who you were born to be regardless of who listens.
