How Serious Are You About Receiving What You Desire?

You say you want that thing you want.  You want it so bad that you can hardly stand the excitement of it all!  Oh how wonderful life would be if only….

If only you could figure out a way to make it happen.  If only you could wave your magic wand and finally get what you want.

You swear you’d do anything if you just knew what that was.  The taste of success feels sweet yet from where you stand it also feels inaccessible.

But let me ask you, because it really does matter more than you know…How bad do you REALLY want it?  Are you really invested in your desires, willing to do what it takes to make it happen?

You say that you want that success, that money, that blissful state, that connection.  You know you can have it all and dammit you want it too!    But then what are you actually doing to be available to receive?

Are you doing the necessary mindset work to clear out the beliefs that now block you from allowing the life of your dreams to effortlessly appear in your reality?  I’m not talking about reading a book or watching an inspiring video and then just carrying on like, “la di da, I did the work.  Now where’s my stuff?”  I’m talking about a-p-p-l-i-c-a-t-i-o-n.  Are you doing the work.

Are you determined as hell to shift what isn’t working?  Are you completely intentional about the thoughts you allow to stay planted in your mind?  Is your vibration more important than pleasing other people, looking good, being right, or staying comfortable in your familiar world of discomfort?

Are you choosing thoughts and beliefs that empower you?  Or are you just letting the old thoughts that you’ve always allowed in your mind continue to poison your life as you stay strapped and limited in the world you’ve created?

Are you taking inspired action and following the breadcrumb trail that your higher self is setting out for you so that you are putting yourself into the flow of miracles?

Or is fear winning this war day by day?

Is the voice of fear and the possibility of publicly failing stronger than your dreams?  Fear does not matter.  It doesn’t exist.  YOU are creating it….giving it life.  You can pull the plug and stop giving it life support instantly and you’ll see it was never real.

Because if shit isn’t working in your life right this minute, I’m going to piss you off but it needs to be said….you really just don’t care enough.

You want it but not badly.  You choose comfort and familiarity over empowerment and possibility.

If your life was on the line, or the life of someone you dearly love, would you find a way to do it?  Would you drop the fear like a bad habit and just do the damn thing?  Would you just simply decide to take that first step and then the next despite the thoughts that might plague your mind?

I don’t have to wait for your answer.  Of course you would.

One of my favorite spiritual empowerment gurus, Bentinho Massaro, says that if you could do it, you can do it.

So you can.  You absolutely can.

But will you?

Does what you want matter enough to you?  Do your dreams, inspirations, the tugging at your heart, do they matter?

Don’t “yes, but…” me.  Please just don’t.  What you say after “…but” has zero value and no truth.

You came here to have certain experiences.  The desires placed on your heart are there because YOU were meant to have them.  You were born for it!  Every single earthly desire that lights you up was meant for you to have.  From the physical, tangible, material objects like that beautiful rose gold mac book pro and the amazing, exhilarating shopping sprees with bags of gorgeous clothes draping both arms as if in a movie shot on Rodeo Drive, to the deep, purposeful work that will change lives in the process.  From the stuff to the overflowing joy of life.  ALL OF IT is spiritual.

And all of it was meant for you.

I have a belief that when we die, we get to review our lives and then see what was really possible without the self-imposed limits that we allowed to hold us back.

When I review my life, I want to be as close to the the pinnacle of possibility as I can be.

That wasn’t always the case.  I allowed the fears and beliefs to limit me for over a decade.  And that was while I was learning all of the mindset and manifesting stuff!  I was reading the books, taking the courses, attending the seminars.

But I wasn’t doing the MF work!  I was waiting for things to change so that I could apply what I knew.  I was waiting until my debt was paid off before I could start believing that I was wealthy.  I was waiting until my business started thriving so that I could start implementing the idea that I was successful.  I thought that my problems were bigger than the solutions that my higher self had for me.  So that is what I created.

How powerful!  Do you see just how powerful we are?  We are so damn powerful that if we choose problems over solutions then we keep ourselves stuck!  That’s power!

But now I use my power in a different way.  I don’t use it to keep me in a mental prison of lack, limitation, and “when-I-have”.  I use it to create a life I’m madly in love with.  I use my power to align with the blueprint of my life and start living like a rock star!  I use my power to give fear the middle finger and start living my purpose.

I use my power to imagineer life with no limits.  I use my power to tap into the infinite energy that creates worlds that is available in unlimited quantity for me!

It starts with a choice and it continues with complete dedication to do whatever it takes until it sticks and then keep doing it because life is all about creation.  YOU are the creator; the chooser.

Create with intention.  Dream.  Realize your power.  Wake up!

Anything is possible.

What life do you choose?

To Get Unstuck, First Accept

If you ever intend to get unstuck from where you are, you’re first gonna have to accept that you’re here.

You don’t have to like where you are, and you don’t have to decide to stay here for another minute.  But you MUST recognize that you are here now.  This is acceptance, and it’s a necessary first step for freeing yourself forever.

You aren’t going to stay stuck if you notice where you are.  You can’t make an effective plan to get from San Diego to Manhattan unless you identify where your trip begins.  Same thing for creating a life that empowers you.

Where you are is where you are.  Don’t make it wrong, or insignificant, or bad.  It just is.  The instant you can just be here in this present moment without any resistance or need to be somewhere else before you feel happy, satisfied, or fulfilled, you shift your reality and start heading in the direction you want to go.

The outer journey begins within.  It begins with a feeling and a choice of thought.  Just leave the physical manifestations up to your Large Self, who already has a handle on providing you with your hearts desire.  You focus on your vibration, which lines you up with what your Large Self wants to give you.

Of course you want more.  You’re a creator!  You’re always going to be reaching for new manifestations, new adventures, new creations, new experiences.  That’s what you DO!  But if you wait until that next thing happens before you allow yourself the freedom to feel free, then even when that new event comes into your life, you won’t be satisfied.  You’ll always be reaching for something more.

I was stuck in this mindset for the majority of my adult life, and I can tell you that the trips, the money, the attention, the (fill in the blank for what you think will bring you happiness) will never be enough.  I had a little and I had a lot and I was never happy until I made the decision to be.

So you are here.  Here you are.  Awesome!  Isn’t that great to know!  Isn’t it amazing to see your life and all that you’ve accomplished and decided and manifested because of your unique story?

And isn’t also great to know that you are in complete control of the outcome of your future simply by making subtle shifts in the way that you feel?  Once you recognize where you are and how you currently feel, you can feel your way to a better feeling vibration, which is the fastest way to get you where you want to be.

Can you look at where you are from the eyes of wonder?  Can you shift the way that you view your experiences?  Can you own the fact that you have created your entire reality with the thoughts you’ve thought and that you can continue to create consciously with new, more empowering thoughts right now?

I’m giving you 4 steps that will not only help you drop the resistance that you feel towards where you are, but will also move you in the direction of having what you really want.

  • Shift your perception about your circumstances– Find satisfaction in this present moment.  Your current reality isn’t good or bad.  It just is.  And how you choose to look at it now is shaping your future experiences.  Start focusing on what you like and what’s working and you’ll start to witness more of that.
  • Look at your past with love– Using the present moment to hold grudges and judgments of the past is the fastest way to stay stuck indefinitely.  Honor your past experiences, forgive yourself and release anyone else that you’re holding judgement towards, and wipe the slate clean completely.
  • Set your intention for what you want– You are the creator of your reality and you can have anything you want without exception.  Intend to create what you want, and focus your energy on being a co-creator with God.  Then allow the guidance that is available.
  • Live with the mindset of the person you choose to be– What would you be thinking, how would you be acting, who would you be BEING if you were the person who was living the life that you want?  Adopt that mindset NOW in whatever way you can, even if it challenges you a bit.  Ask for help from the Divine and step into BEING that person now.

Allow yourself to begin here…now.  This is your starting point.  This is your bouncing off point.  Every single experience that has brought you to now has created the desire for more.  Be thankful.  And then keep your eyes pointed ahead, on what you choose to create from this point going forward.  And then take it easy.  You will get to wherever it is you want to go if you simply keep your eyes focused forward.

Are You Working Too Hard at Manifesting?

Manifesting what you want isn’t supposed to be difficult.  You working hard at getting it right isn’t going to make things happen any faster.  Actually, you’ll be slowing yourself down considerably, doll.  The most natural thing you were ever meant to do is manifest.  You knew, before the day your little ass made it to planet earth, that you would have the power to create a life that you desired.  Whatever you want….you can have.

Easy.

Simple.

And you also knew that there would be contrasting experiences to help you decided what you wanted and what you’d rather do without.  There was nothing wrong with the idea of seeing things you didn’t want.  The contrast was there to help you choose something that made you feel better.

You had the realization that once you noticed something you didn’t want, you would immediately make the vibrational request for it’s opposite.  And when you saw/experienced something you did like, you would ask for more.

The asking part of creation is already done on auto-pilot.  It takes no effort on your part whatsoever.  You can take it easy on the trying to manifest.  It’s just not necessary.  You’re already doing it, weather you’re conscious of it or not.

And once you’ve asked, the Universe just hands over the goods.  It’s done.  Ask and it is given.  BOOM!

The part you have a hard time with, if your desire hasn’t reached your hands yet, is the allowing part.  You got so gosh-darn focused on what you don’t want or what hasn’t manifested yet that you hold your attention there instead of tuning your vibration to what you want instead.  It doesn’t take any work at all, but maybe a little effort of change in focus.  Pretty easy if you simply intend for it to happen.

Here’s the deal.  Your creation/manifestation is given to you in vibrational form and fully manifests into the physical when you align your vibration (which is allowing).  You must tune your vibration to what you want instead of staying tuned into what’s not working if you want to be able to bring your desire into form.

But here you are, looking at what you don’t have and what’s not working, getting all frustrated with yourself and thinking that maybe the timing isn’t right or God doesn’t want you to have what you want.  But it’s nothing like that.  You’re just not allowing.

So to make the physical world bend to your command, you start doing all this crazy work like visualizing and affirming and journaling and praying (ALL of which are FANTASTIC when used appropriately) from a place of LACK and NOT having.

The Universe’s hands are completely tied because you’re worry and recognition of your unfulfilled desire is what’s dominant in your vibration.

All that hard work on your part to get the Universe to hear you is completely wasted!

Your job isn’t to MAKE it all happen. The reason why you might want to visualize or affirm or do any of those cool, high-vibe tricks is to keep you in a state of allowing.  When you’re in the energy of your desires, intentionally holding that vibration firm in place is easy to do, it’s fun, and it works!

But working from a place of lack and effort to attract something to you is pointless.

You’re working too hard.  And you’re going about it in a futile way.

Consider these steps that I’ve learned to love through the teaching of Abraham Hicks, the master teachers from the non-physical.

Step 1:  Ask.  You do this without even knowing it.  You are always asking based on your preferences in the present moment.

Step 2: It is given.  The Universe takes care of this, so you can just skip over it completely.  Just realize that once you ask, the vibrational version of your request is always a yes!

Step 3:  Allow.  Here’s where most people get hung up but it’s only because you haven’t really made your vibration the most important part of your life.  You let other people’s opinions or conversations keep you out of allowing, and you basically down-right refuse to shift your thinking until your physical world changes.  It’s stupid (sorry, not sorry) because it blocks you from receiving your blessing.  So stay stubborn all you want, but you’ll never get anything that way.  Instead, make your inner state of acceptance, satisfaction, and joy the most important part of your life.  Have a “no-matter-what” attitude about staying high-flying.

Step 4:  Getting good at step 3!  You are less concerned with the way that things are and you’re more deliberate with managing your vibration.  Use every opportunity to clean up your vibration a little bit more.  You can completely change the subject or your point of focus, or find something about what you’re focused on to feel good about.  Either way, you’re raising your vibration deliberately and getting back into the state of allowing.  (I have some advanced tools that Abraham doesn’t teach which I will go into on another post later and will link here when I do.  But this process is complete even without them.)

Step 5: Be okay with step 1 (welcome the contrast)!  When you experience contrast by seeing something you don’t want or feeling a way that is uncomfortable, just be okay with that.  Realize that you’re “shooting off rockets of desire” (Abraham’s words) every time you experience something you don’t like.  So instead of freaking out that you’re in a funky place, celebrate that you’re creating more to be happy about later.  You don’t need conditions to change or be something in this red hot minute in order for you to be satisfied.  You’re realizing that you are the creator and that what you’re seeing/tasting/touching/hearing/feeling right now is from your past focus.  Your present experience is a past vibration.  In order to stay in your power, you cannot be conditional about your joy or feeling good.

Fine tuning your vibration is all you have to do.  The more high-vibe you stay on the subject of your desire, the easier and faster what you want will come to you.  But even in the absence of your physical desire, you will feel good/be happy!  And isn’t that the ultimate goal anyway?

Can You Really Have It All?

Of course the short answer to this question of can you really have it all is “YES!”  I know without a doubt that any desire that is born in your heart is possible and available for you.

But I have a unique spin on the details to this answer, compliments of Gabby Bernstein, who has helped me see things through a more peaceful and allowing perspective rather than struggling to make it all manifest now.

She was discussing a panel she was part of filled with other successful entrepreneurs/moms who spoke about their struggle to keep so many balls juggled in the air.  Sometimes being a parent and biz owner at the same time can be overwhelming.  They each expressed their belief that you really can have it all….but you don’t necessarily need to have it all at the same time.

This perspective is a much softer approach as opposed to the popular belief that you can have it all and you can have it all right now.  And while that might sound great, the problem I have with this idea is that when you DON’T experience this as your reality, you start to panic, wonder what you’re doing wrong, and feel like something isn’t working.  And that stance will take you out of flow/allowing which actually blocks more from coming to you.

As a busy mom, wife, entrepreneur, and all the other hats I might put on throughout the day, I have come to realize that when I’m not fully attentive to what I’m doing in the present moment, my mind get scattered/fragmented and I begin to stress out.  Like when I’m in mom-mode, playing with the kids (which I actually schedule on my calendar because it takes conscious effort on my part to completely unplug from my business and other responsibilities I have) and I start to notice how messy the house is getting.  I want a tidy house, and I also want to love on my kiddos and be present with them.  In that moment, I have to choose between having a tidy house and being attentive to my children.  I can have them both, but in that exact moment, I don’t need them both RIGHT NOW.

Divine timing isn’t always YOUR timing.  The Universe really does know what’s best for you, in the BEST timing.

This by no means implies that you have to wait a long time, or that you can’t have it at all.  I am a firm believer that if you have a desire placed on your heart, it was put there by God.  And if God gave you the desire, He will give you the means to manifest it.  But I also feel like too many people are trying to play God and call the shots and from our human perspective, we just don’t see the whole picture.

I feel a lot more peaceful when I just hand things over to the Divine, get out of the way, and enjoy what’s right in front of me.  Being in a state of allowing is being in the state of receiving.  More of what you are wanting will actually reach you when you just chill, relax, and allow.

Have you noticed that when you look at what hasn’t happened yet, your manifestation doesn’t have the chance to reach you?  And when you aren’t even thinking about what you’ve asked for, just enjoying life, it seems like everything just happens effortlessly?

Don’t you want effortless manifestation?

Don’t you want easy?

I know that I do.  Inner peace just feels good and even in the moments while I’m waiting for what I want to come to me, I’m already okay.

If you’d like to release the struggle of trying to get everything this red hot minute, here are a few things for you to think about:

  1.  Acceptance = non-resistance.  Regardless of what’s happening in your physical world, which you don’t always have control over, you DO have control over the way you react to your circumstances.  Reaching acceptance for whatever you’re experiencing and however you’re feeling in the moment removes any resistance that you might have, making that experience temporary.  And as the feelings simply be, they will move and create more space for the higher/better feeling vibrations that are a match for what you want.
  2. Get ready to get ready!  Your job in the manifestation process isn’t to make anything happen.  That’s the job of the Universe.  Your job is to prepare your vibration by getting ready to get ready (as Abraham Hicks talks about in their lectures).  To prepare your vibration, you have to find satisfaction in the IDEA of your manifestation.  Abraham says that new desires are always emerging from your consciousness, so there is always something that hasn’t manifested yet.  If you wait for the manifestation to occur before you feel satisfied, you’ll NEVER be satisfied (at least for very long) because you are a CREATOR!  You allow 9 months to go by before you meet your baby for the first time because you understand that there’s a gestation period in pregnancy.  You allow time to go by when planting a seed before it blossoms into a beautiful flower.  Get ready to get ready and allow the gestation of your idea to BE without your interference.
  3. TRUST that the Universe ALWAYS has your back!  Nothing is impossible or out of reach.  No matter what you desire, the Universe is always saying YES!  If you can simply trust that things are always working out for you, you can relax and enjoy the beautiful creation of your desires as they come.

This way of thinking feels so much easier to me.  You no longer have to control, fight/push/strive/WORK to make things happen.  And you can take it easy on yourself in the meantime, in between launching your desire and seeing it manifest into the physical, and just enjoy the perfection of your life.

What would change for you if you were more receptive to God’s divine timing?  Comment below!

You Don’t Have to Believe Everything You Think

Thoughts are sticky, tricky things.

The thoughts we are in the habit of thinking often tend to feel more like truth than something we have a choice to believe.

But are those habitual thoughts serving you?  Do you feel good when you think them?

Because if the answer is NO, then you’re causing undue suffering in your life, which in turn will manifest more to be miserable about.

And I can’t think of one person on this planet that I ever met who loved feeling miserable.

Yet, I can think of more than a handful of people who actually are.

Here’s what I want you to know.  Your thoughts alone are what causes suffering.  Not your job, not your spouse, not your current bank account balance.  Sure, it’s a tough pill to swallow, but it does put you back in the driver’s seat.  So would you rather stand by, passively suffering and wishing things/people/situations would change so you can finally catch a break already?

Or would you rather say “Sayonara!” to that fearful voice in your head and choose a different experience for your life?

You don’t have to believe any thought that doesn’t feel good.  Every single thought is just made up; sometimes by you and sometimes by others but it’s all just just noise that you can buy into or refuse.

The best question to ask yourself is, “Does this thought feel good?”  If it does, keep thinking it!  Because anytime you’re feeling good, you’re in the flow of allowing life to bring you miracles, goodness, and all the things you want.

If the thought feels bad, don’t believe it!  You might not be able to change the thought into something better right away (this kind of denial is ineffective, and a waste of pretty awesome affirmations!), but you can at least recognize that it’s just an untrue thought.  The thought starts to lose it’s grip on your marvelous mind, and eventually (don’t rush it!) you’ll feel better and more able to choose a thought that will make you happy when it manifests.

Do You Want to Uplevel To Live a Larger Life?

My prayer has been “God, guide me!” for years.  Today I finally allowed it to happen.

I was remembering when I first started journaling consistently maybe 2 years ago, when I was really struggling to feel confident about what I had to say to the world.  As a new coach, I wanted to show up for my audience in a way that was inspiring, captivating, and transformative.  The only way I could really speak from a place of power and inspiration was to allow God to speak through me.

And I knew that.

So I prayed.  Daily.  “God, use me!  Be the words on my lips, the thoughts in my mind.  I want to be guided to share whatever wants to come through me.”

And then I would seek a passage from a book, or watch an inspiring video for the inspiration I thought would be perfect for the day.

And every day I would kind of secretly struggle a little bit.  I wouldn’t love the message that I spoke.  I would end a video and feel discouraged, untalented….constantly comparing myself to others who seemed to speak better than I did, who always seemed to know exactly what to say, who spoke from their hearts.

It’s not like I didn’t know enough.  I had studied hours a day for years at this point.  But why didn’t the teaching feel natural yet?

I even wrote to my business coach how I felt like I just didn’t have the skills/talent to put the information that was in my head out into the world in a way that was unique, different, and “ME”.

Yet every day I would still pray that God guide me.

I finally realized that I could pray every day as hard as I could but if I DIDN’T GET OUT OF THE WAY, I would never experience His guidance.  Not because it wasn’t available. But because I wasn’t allowing it.

It was if I wanted to be a channel for God, but had to control what came through.  Uh…nope.  Sorry.  That doesn’t work.  I can either cut my power off and control, or I can become an unlimited vessel in complete surrender.

If you choose control, you can have it.  But you have to realize that things aren’t gonna turn out so great.  You’ll be cutting yourself off from your life force energy.  It’s like driving a car and deciding to blindfold yourself to see how good you can do without vision.

In any moment, you can choose guidance.  And when you do that, and truly ALLOW that guidance by getting out of the way, you make yourself available to the resources that are only available through God.  Power, abundance, creativity, guidance, brilliance, peace, flow, joy.  To me, it’s a no-brainer.

But even thought it’s a no-brainer, it doesn’t mean that it’s super easy to do.  Your smaller self is going to fight it.  You’ve been doing things a certain way for a lifetime and now you’re trying to shake things up.

So go easy on yourself and don’t expect everything to change in a day.  Love yourself through the transition and when you get caught up in trying to control again, just laugh and release control in that moment.

Living from this place is so peaceful, yet your small self will crave the chaos for a while.  Not because it’s best for you, but because it’s familiar.

Celebrate the small successes.  Don’t take score unless it works in your favor.  You’ll notice that everything really does start to work better when you remove your small self from the driver’s seat and give God/Higher Self control.
